1984 GT Pro
OWNER: AndyDiamond
Original chrome frame and fork and mostly original decals, built with mainly NOS parts.
This is the first version of the frames that had the slanted and stamped end on the top tubes.
These frame also had small holes drilled in the rear drop outs.
These changes were mainly cosmetic - the geometry remained the same as the earlier GT Pro.
In 1984 GT moved production from Santa Ana CA to Huntington Beach CA.
Pre-84 GTs are referred to as 'Santa Ana GTs'.
I built this closely to resemble the GT Pro Series complete bike that was available in 1984 with a few tweaks.
